Hi! I’m Shannon and I am fourth generation in the Roaring Fork valley who loves Colorado and the outdoors. I have been caring for children aged 2 months to 12 years for eleven years. I was the director at an after school program/ summer camp as well as preschools both public and private.
Responsibilities included planning and implementing all activities. Such as science, cooking, arts and crafts, assisting with homework and enjoying the outdoors.
I have also been a long term nanny and have been responsible for taking care of children and all their activities for a week or more while parents are out of the country.
Working with children, of all ages is my passion. It is important to me that each child feels loved and is treated with kindness. I love being a positive, caring influence in their lives.
My training and certification includes, Montessori and public pre-school, after school and summer school director for 3 schools, First Aid, CPR, medication administration and director certified.
I also house and pet sit (dogs, cats, farm animals)
