Rachel N.

Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I’m originally from New Hampshire. I moved to the Valley three years ago, drawn here by my love for skiing. Since then, it’s become home—especially with all the outdoor adventures it offers.

In the winter, I work as a Ski Instructor, and during the summer, I’m a Whitewater Rafting Guide. I absolutely love being outside and try to spend as much time as possible on the river, the trails, or the slopes. Some of my favorite activities include rafting, skiing, backpacking, and running.

I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Human Services and am certified as a Wilderness First Responder. I’ve been working with kids for over nine years, in a wide variety of roles—from daycare settings to leading multi-day backcountry trips. I’ve had the chance to work with children of all ages, and I truly enjoy helping them grow and thrive through outdoor exploration.

One of the best parts of working with kids is sharing the joy of nature—whether we’re discovering something new on a hike or simply playing outside. I also love getting creative with crafts and baking when I’m not out on an adventure.
