Hi! My name is Kristin! I am from Fulton, Illinois, a small town that borders Illinois and Iowa, right along the Mississippi River. I have lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for the past 8 years, and I have worked with children for 10+ years. I found my way to Colorado through a family that Iwas a nanny for, and am still close with that family to this day, many years later. I have a bachelor’s degree in Education, specializing in Mathematics, and have been a private tutor in Math and early literacy for many years. I am certified in CPR/First Aid and backcountry Wilderness First Aid. I am learning Spanish, and can have basic conversations in in that language.

I started babysitting when I was 16, and I bring a wealth of experience. I have newborn care
experience, I’ve cared for children of multiple ages, as well as long-term nannying experience.
I enjoy being active here in the Roaring Fork Valley; running, hiking, CrossFit, & yoga. I love traveling, cooking, going to see live music, and being active in the community here. I am a math teacher, so that keeps me quite busy during the school year.

For the past 5 years, I have worked as a Math Specialist at a local community school here in the valley, teaching Math togrades K-8. When I am working with children, I love to play games, get outside on a hike, go to the park, bake & cook together, do craft projects, and art. I also enjoy teaching kids new things and can
incorporate educational activities into their play. I love to read books, do homework with them,
and I have plenty of fun math games to play as well. I look forward to working with your children
