Hi! I’m Chiara. Growing up in Carbondale and the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley gave me a lifelong passion for the mountains. I absolutely love sharing that connection to the outdoors with kids through active play, exploring, and big adventures!
Taking care of children has always been a huge part of my life. I jumped into babysitting as soon as I could, eventually becoming a certified sitter about ten years ago.

During a gap year before college, I nannied for a wonderful local family, helping a sweet little one navigate major developmental milestones from five months old through toddlerhood. I then spent time as a preschool teacher at Growing Years in Basalt, where I learned how to create safe, engaging, and positive environments for early learners. Currently, you can find me on the slopes with Aspen Skiing Company as a ski instructor! I primarily teach the six-and-under crowd in group and private lessons, helping them build confidence and learn new skills safely.

Because of my background in Health Science at Fort Lewis College, plus certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed, families can rest easy knowing safety is my top priority. When I'm with your children, you can expect me to be dependable, patient, energetic, and organized.

Whether we are diving into arts and crafts, reading books, playing games, skiing, or inventing fun activities, my goal is always to make sure your kids feel safe, supported, and excited about their day.
