I’m Anna from Cape Town, South Africa! I have a Bachelor of Science in Biodiversity and Ecology from Stellenbosch University. After graduating in 2024, I decided to follow my love of travel and experience new cultures, which led me to beautiful Aspen.
In addition to English, I speak Afrikaans, a local South African language.
With over six years of childcare experience, I’ve worked with children aged 1.5 to 15 in both part-time roles for multiple families and a full-time position caring for three children. I’m passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, sewing, and cooking. I also love hiking and spending time outdoors—especially in the ocean, where I enjoy scuba and free-diving. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish quality time with my loved ones. I prioritise and enjoy fun activities and adventures with my friends, like camping or road-tripping.
When taking care of children, I love incorporating fun, hands-on, age-appropriate activities like baking, arts and crafts, and DIY projects. I always try to foster a love for books and spark imagination through storytime. Safe outdoor play is also a favorite, whether it’s exploring nature or simply enjoying time outside. Each child is unique, and I look forward to understanding their individual needs and preferences to provide the best care and support for both them and their family.
